By next spring, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey will be installing RFID readers in 13 train stations throughout the NY-NY metropolitan area. Similar to EZ Pass, commuters may soon be issued RFID cards in order to board trains which may signal the end of paper tickets or laminated passes. Will this make the trains run on time?
